Tin of Tags!

The Tin of Tags Project Kit on page 33 of the Holiday Catalog is AMAZING!!!  It includes supplies to make 30 Christmas tags.  I don’t know about you, but this kit is right up my alley, because I love to make all my tags ahead of time.  That way, in the frenzy of Christmas gift wrapping, I can just grab one and keep wrapping. This project kit coordinates with the Tin of… Read More »

Cookie Cutter Halloween

I had Stamp Club last week.  It’s always so much fun to get together with the gals and make projects.  For this club, I focused three of the four projects on the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and coordinating stamp sets, including the Cookie Cutter Halloween.  I adore this cute little scarecrow guy!!! This is actually the door prize that I gave out at the workshop.  Each time we meet, I… Read More »

Paper Pumpkin Gift Bag

When I started thinking of alternative ideas for this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit, the first thing that popped into my mind was a gift bag.  The banner that comes with the kit is so freaking cute that I wanted to integrate it into some sort of larger scale project.  And, what better than a birthday bag? I selected a large bag measuring 13″ x 10″.  To cover the front, I… Read More »

Hello Flamingo

I love the new Pop of Paradise stamp set!  The flamingo is so cute, and I also adore the tropical leaves that come with this stamp set.  It just screams summer fun to me. I wanted to make a fun door prize for my Stamp Club this week, so I chose bright, cheery colors including one of the new In-Colors … Flirty Flamingo.  Well it is pretty apropos, don’t you… Read More »

Senior Dancers’ Gift

About a month ago, my daughter asked if I could create a special gift for her dance teacher for the end of the dance season.  She wanted me to make a framed picture of all the senior dancers that are graduating this year.  All of these girls have been students at the studio for years!!!  My daughter Shannon started dancing there at 5, and I know some of these girls… Read More »

Over the Top Gift Wrap

I love to create pretty gift wrapping for special people in my life, especially my mom.  She loves stamping as much as I do, and so I know she appreciates the effort, and I love to surprise her with really great “over the top” gifts.  Hopefully, by the time she reads this, the package will have arrived at her house and she would have at least seen the outside of… Read More »

Alternate Use – Bloomin’ Love

After Valentine’s Day, you may have thought there weren’t many uses for the Bloomin’ Love stamp set and coordinating Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies (sold in a bundle for 15% off.)  However, I’ve seen lots of creative ideas to use these two products that have nothing to do with Valentine’s Day. I have one to share with you today. Yesterday was my monthly Stamp Club workshop.  Each month, we get together… Read More »

April Paper Pumpkin

It’s April Paper Pumpkin time!!!  This is an especially awesome kit, because it included an extra, bonus stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to celebrate the third birthday of Paper Pumpkin!  How great is that?  Thank you Stampin’ Up! First, let me show you the April kit.  Here’s the photopolymer stamp set: And here’s a photo of the rest of the kit.  I didn’t photograph multiple cutouts of the same pieces,… Read More »

Quick & Easy Gift Box

I love making pretty boxes for gifts!  They’re always a big hit. Handmade boxes work especially well for small gifts, like this one that measures 5″ square with 1/2″ sides.  I made it out of some Neutrals Designer Series Paper following a pizza box design that I posted previously on my blog.  (See below for a copy.) To create the belly band, I used Crumb Cake card stock. Tip:  When… Read More »

I thought I’d made one last Sale-A-Bration card.  My card today features the Pedal Pusher stamp set, Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack, and Metallics Glitter Tape, some of my absolute favorites.… Read More »

Weekly Deals / Little Packages

There’s only three more days left of Sale-A-Bration!  Be sure to take advantage of these last few days to earn a free product with each $50 purchase. Today for inspiration, I made a box for my daughter for her upcoming 18th birthday.  You know the saying, “Good things come in little packages,” well this box is little (only 2-1/2″ cubed) and she’s going to be getting something really good inside:)… Read More »

Weekly News / Paper Pumpkin

I got my March Paper Pumpkin Kit this weekend.  While I haven’t had much time to play with it, I did take a peek at the contents and make some of the standard projects.  I love getting my Paper Pumpkin box each month.  It’s always a surprise, so it’s like getting a little gift in the mail (a gift to myself!) This month, the box included this fun little message. … Read More »

Botanical Easter Basket

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!  I should have made a St. Patrick’s Day project!!!  Oh well, missed the boat there.  I have to admit that I don’t do that much celebrating for St. Patty’s Day.  I mostly just dress up in green and hide a few chocolate shamrocks and gold coins for the kids.  Now that one kid is away at college and the other one is so busy I hardly… Read More »

Flowering Fields Custom Box

Have you ever wanted to make a custom gift box?  I’ve got some simple instructions to share today that only require a Stampin’ Trimmer (or Scoring Board) and a 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper.  After you’ve created your custom box, you can decorate to your heart’s content. I made this little gift box out of a sheet of Kraft Cardstock.  I wanted to wrap a door prize for my… Read More »
