January Artisan Design Team – In Bloom Bundle

By | January 23, 2021

Hello and welcome to my first official 2021 Artisan Design Team blog post! How exciting!!! This year, Stampin’ Up! has made a few changes to the Artisan Design Team. Instead of monthly blog hops, Stampin’ Up! is posting Artisan Design Team projects on it’s Facebook and Instagram feeds. These projects appeared in the Artisan Design Team Showcase January 2021 on Facebook yesterday.

For these monthly projects, the 21 members of the Artisan Design Team are divided into three groups. That means seven of us had the opportunity to create samples using the new In Bloom Bundle.

#156208 In Bloom Bundle – $48.50 (USD)
including In Bloom Photopolymer Stamps and Pierced Blooms Dies

This is a really fantastic bundle including a super versatile stamp set and 25 individual dies. I particularly love the delicate leaves and detailed stitching.

All Occasion 3-D In Bloom Bouquet:

For my first project, I used the dies to cut flowers from Shimmery White Cardstock and watercolored them with Petal Pink and Rococo Rose ink to create a 3D bouquet with lots of layers.

Then, to make the flowers really come to life, I used a Bone Folder and stylist (from a Simply Scored Scoring Tool) to shape the flowers.

For a subtle background, I stamped and embossed the stems and small dots on a layer of Vellum. I also used Blending Brushes to create an ombre effect on a Stitched So Sweetly die-cut with Night of Navy and Seaside Spray ink.

Another fun element on this card is the Soft Sea Foam Velveteen Paper I used for the stem and leaf die-cuts. It has such a beautiful texture.

I contemplated adding a sentiment to this card, but decided in the end that it looked better without. What do you think?

Sale-A-Bration — Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper:

The best part of this bundle is that it coordinates with the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. You can earn this paper for FREE with a qualifying purchase of $50 from now until February 28, 2021 while supplies last!

Slimline Happy Birthday Card:

My next project is a slimline Happy Birthday card taking full advantage of that gorgeous paper.

This time, I cut the flowers directly from the “watercolored” print, making it super easy.

I also embossed some in white flowers on Vellum and cut them out to layer on my card and added some 3/8″ Denim Ribbon. The white serves as a nice visual break from the busy background.

To create the long scallop under the ribbon, I pieced together three Stitched So Sweetly die-cuts.

Love You Always Treat Box:

My final project is a Love You Always Treat Box. These boxes are so darling; I just love them! They come in a pack of 10, and they’re easy to fold and assemble. They’re a perfect size to gift wrap some chocolate treats! I particularly love them because they side right open, keeping your beautiful decorations intact.

In addition to the watercolored flower die-cuts, I used several bow die-cuts under the Blushing Bride 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon.

I hope I’ve inspired you to use the In Bloom Bundle. Be sure to check out the the entire Artisan Design Team Showcase January 2021 on Stampin’ Up!’s Facebook page. The projects will also appear on Stampin’ Up!’s Instagram feed individually over the next several weeks. I’m sure they will inspire you!!!

Thank you so much Mallory!!! I do think the majority will share on their blogs. I definitely will and I dont believe you need an account to just click on the link I provided above. So you should be able to still see them all in one place on Facebook.
