Bridesmaid Cards with Charming Day Bundle

Hi Friends. My daughter’s wedding is coming up, and over the past year, I’ve been making lots of projects for her. Some were secret at the time, like this one, so I’ve waited almost a year to share it. While the Charming Day Bundle is now retired, I still thought you might like the inspiration in case you had purchased the bundle or have something similar.

My daughter asked me to make these cards to give to her bridesmaids to go with their “invitation gifts.” The whole process is really different from when I got married. Nowadays, the brides give all sorts of gifts to their bridesmaids to thank them ahead of time. She wanted something super special using her wedding colors.

Shannon’s style is very soft and elegant. So I decided to heat emboss the flowers in white on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and then watercolor them with Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, and Mossy Meadow ink. The sentiment is from the Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set and is also heat embossed in white on Petal Pink Two-Tone Cardstock. (I cut it out with the More Messages Die.) I love two-tone cardstock, especially the Subtles Collection colors. The light side (which I used for the large label in the background) is so soft and pretty.

I also used the Charming Day stamps to heat emboss the envelope lids in white.

It’s hard to tell in the photos, but the background is a layer of Vellum Paper dry embossed with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder. I used the coordinating Peace On Earth Dies to cut the large label.
