Creative Gift Ideas

By | May 16, 2018

Hi Stamping Friends!  I have a quick post today to share some creative gifting ideas.

The first features the Share What You Love Suite.  I can’t emphasize enough how much I love this suite of products!  For details on all the Share What You Love early release bundles, which are available to purchase during the month of May, see my earlier blog post HERE.  (The individual products that make up these bundles will be available to purchase from the new Annual Catalog on June 1, 2018.)

I sponged a Mini Pizza Box with Crumb Cake ink and then covered the sides with Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I absolutely adore this paper!!!  Many of the designs include a pearlized finish that is so rich and beautiful looking.  In fact, I used some of those pieces to cut out flowers and decorate my box.

The small label layered on the bottom is from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.  I took the white label and sponged it with Tranquil Tide ink to change the color.

I added a little interest to my Stitched Shape Circle Framelit Die by adding splatters.  I simply held a Tranquil Tide Stampin’ Write Marker over the die cut and used the cap to flick the brush end towards the paper.

Underneath the circle die, I added some Whisper White 5/8″ Organza Ribbon.  This ribbon is retiring, so stock up while you can.  It’s a beautiful quality and easily colored with Stampin’ Blends or an ink filled Spritzer.

Next, is just a quick little decoration for some pickled asparagus.  My hometown, Stockton California, is the asparagus capital of the world; and a good friend makes these spicy, pickled treats every year.  They make great gifts!

I created some quick tags using the Stitched Shaped and Wood Words Framelits Dies and then added some Gingham Ribbon for a homespun look.
