#TGIFC574 – Inspiration Challenge with Gallery Blooms

By | April 24, 2026

Happy Friday! For this week’s TGIF Challenge, we have the inspirational photo below. I don’t have any book related stamp sets, so I decided to focus on the flowers, colors, and wood grain. I also noticed the pretty square window panes in the background and decided to recreate them.

For my card, I used I mish mash of a bunch of different products in my stash including the Gallery Bloom Bundle (for the flowers), Beautiful Motifs Dies (for the greenery), Inspiring Imperfections Dies (for the vase), Lovely Arrangements Bundle (for the sentiment), and Stylish Shapes Dies (for the background window.) I also used the Wood Grain Designer Series Paper for the light and dark wood tones.

To create my card, I used Sponge Daubers to apply both Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss ink directly to the flower stamp and stamped it on Basic White Cardstock. Then I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends Markers using Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, and Melon Mambo markers for the flowers and Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and a touch of Shaded Spruce markers for the leaves.

I cut the ferns out of both Granny Apple Green and Old Olive Two-Tone Cardstock (the light sides) and then used a Small Blending Brush to add Old Olive ink shading to both. I cut the other leaf from Garden Green Two-Tone Cardstock (again the light side.) If you have those dies, you know that the die only makes a partial cut, so I had to use Paper Snips to finish cutting it out. Then, I used a Small Blending Brush to add Shaded Spruce shading.

I cut the vase from Basic Beige Cardstock and used a Blending Brush to add Pecan Pie ink shading.

For the sentiment, I noticed the pop of Lost Lagoon in the inspiration photo, so I decided to use that. Why not use a totally different color for the sentiment to really make it stand out? I love it!

With a little thought, I feel like I could use my stash for just about any theme. While this one was a challenge, I love the end result. It’s something I never would have dreamed up otherwise, which is super fun!
