Welcome to the November Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month, our theme is the “Holidays Are Coming.” I’m excited to see all the great ideas from the designers this month.

Have you taken a good look at the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack? It is SUPER cute!!! Even if you don’t scrapbook, the pack is worth a second look, because it’s great for making cards too! The cards I’m sharing today took very little effort and involve NO STAMPING. (Gasp!)

Peace Card:

For my first project, I trimmed down one of the cards and window sheets and layered them over some Snowflake Vellum Specialty Paper for a soft look on a Petal Pink card base.

I decided to do a little fussy cutting from other cards in the pack to pop up the three trees on the right, and then I used a Chalk Marker to add a few lines to the large tree so it coordinated with the background.

Next, I cut out a white label using the Labels Aglow Dies and added a little Crumb Cake ink with a Blending Brush.

The final touch was to add one of the wooden greetings from the card pack, a Wonderful Snowflake embellishment, and some Iridescent Rhinestones layered over a strip of Natural Finish Ribbon. Easy peasy!

Santa Card:

My second project is simple too! I trimmed down and layered several cards from the pack and fussy cut the Santa image.

This time, I layered the window sheet over a Crumb Cake mat. I used a Blending Brush to add white craft ink to the edges of the paper to soften the overall look.

Next, I cut out a few labels using the Labels Aglow Dies and added Crumb Cake and white craft ink to them. Then, I added another wooden greeting from the card pack and a bow tied with Natural Finish Ribbon, Linen Thread and some Jingle Bell Flat Trinkets. Another quick and easy card that I’d be proud to mail out for Christmas.

There are so many possibilities with this card pack!!! And, Stampin’ Up! sells matching envelopes in Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce for the perfect final touch!
