Orlando Convention Days 2 & 3

By | November 10, 2018

The Orlando 2018 On Stage Convention was AMAZING!!!  I was inspired by so many great new products and learned lots of great ideas and tips to share when I get home.  In the meantime, I thought I’d share some photos.  These are all unedited so excuse the quality.

I loved sharing this whole experience with my mom, Lorrie.

Stampin’ Up! showered us with gifts.  I was so lucky, because in my opinion I won the BEST new stamp set during Prize Patrol in the last session.  It was my number one pick from the Occasions catalog.  It’s the Wonderful Romance stamp set, and I can hardly wait to get home and ink it up!  Later, I’ll be able to purchase the coordinating die cut set too!

Plus, everyone got this fantastic foldable tote, tool bag, and Gingham Gala designer series paper stack!

Here’s a look at a sample card using the Wonderful Romance stamp set.

And, here’s a closer look at the Gingham Gala DPS.  It’s got two sizes of gingham, large on one side and small on the other.  Love it!!!

I got to meet up with LOTS of friends, including this wonderful, crazy, talented group of ladies from the TGIF Challenges blog.  Melissa Stout designed these awesome T-shirts.

Two ladies from the group (Stesha Bloodhart and Ashley Van Camp) were named to the 2019 Artisan Design Team!!!  I was so incredibly excited for them! 💕  Considering there were only four people named to the team from all of Northern American, that’s pretty impressive!

(L to R:  Breelin Renwick, Mercedes Weber, Charet Mallett, Christy Velasquez, Andrea Tracy-Tucker, Jeanna Bohanon, Ashley Van Camp, me, Stesha Bloodhart, Elizabeth Price.)

Here are some of the amazing swaps I received from the TGIF Challenges team.  We will be featuring these projects in upcoming posts.

Charlet Mallett and I ran into each other this morning.  I’m lucky enough to be on both the TGIF Challenges and What Will You Stamp? Challenge blog design teams with her.

Later, I met up with several members of the Exclusive Project Tutorial design team, including Elaine Schader, Wendy Lee, and Stesha Bloodhart.

During On Stage, many demonstrators receive recognition for their accomplishment in sales, leadership, and recruiting.  My accomplisments are just little ones compared to others, but I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to walk across the stage to celebrate my 5th anniversary of being a demonstrator and stand for recognition for reaching level one in recruiting and leadership.

It was a very brief moment, so I was pretty impressed that mom caught this photo.

Can’t wait to share all the rest of my news.  Have a great weekend!
