November Newsletter

By | October 31, 2019

Happy Halloween!!! I can’t believe it’s already the end of October! This month just seemed to fly by. I’m probably thinking that, because I spent most of the last two weeks playing on vacation!!! My husband and I just got back from an awesome vacation to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and finally Los Angeles to visit our sweet daughter. We hiked almost every day, saw incredible scenery, relaxed, enjoyed, and had a great time visiting with family. This is a picture from the last day on Santa Monica Pier taken by my sweet sis. (It includes my daughter, brother-in-law, sister, me, and my husband.)

New Paper Trimmer

Stampin’ Up!’s new Paper Trimmer is here and available to order tomorrow, November 1st! (Item: 152392 | $25.00)

I pre-ordered one, and I have to say that I’m in LOVE! It’s a similar size to the old one, but it is much more robust. It includes more measurements (for precise cutting), a great cutting handle that locks down to prevent slipping, as well as one replacement cutting blade and one scoring blade. Also, I’ve been using it A LOT, and the blade seems more durable.

Tip: To unlock the handle, give a slight push forward at the top.

Another thing I absolutely love about this trimmer is the swing out handle for measuring larger pieces of paper. It’s sturdy (with support underneath) and super easy to use. I highly recommend this useful tool.

Paper Pumpkin

Aren’t you just IN LOVE with the October Paper Pumpkin Kit? I got mine while I was on vacation, so I haven’t had a chance to play with it yet, but I absolutely adore the watercolored background, beautiful color combination and design. I’m really looking forward to the coordinating November Kit. In fact, I think I might wait and tackle both kits together so I can mix and match supplies to create my alternative projects.

Be sure to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by November 10th to receive the Winter Wonders Kit! (Makes 24 holiday-themed gift tags of 4 various sizes and designs. Coordinating colors: Early Espresso, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce.)

This is an easy way to get a whole stack of tags made ahead of time and make your life easier during the holidays. Watch my blog for additional ideas!!!
