Color Fusers Blog Hop — June 2024 with Country Flowers

Hello and welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for June 2024. June is always a fun month, because it’s when we feature the new In Colors!!! The 2024-2026 In Colors are so bright and beautiful; I absolutely love them!

I ended up pairing four of the new In Colors with the Country Flowers Bundle to create this card. I also added some color blocking, which I’ve seen a lot of lately. It’s bold and fun and a great way to show off these beautiful colors.

To create my card, I stamped the jug and flowers with Memento ink and then colored them with Stampin’ Blends Markers. To blend to white and create highlights, I used a Color Lifter marker.

Behind the flowers, I added die-cut leaves from Basic White Cardstock that I had pre-colored with Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends. I like to pre-color the paper so the die-cut detail stays nice and crisp.

I also used a Dark Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blend Marker to color Linen Thread for the bow!

The subtle dry embossed background layer was created with the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. It’s such a pretty one!

The final touch was to embellish with 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.
