Hello Stampers! Welcome to the January 2020 Color Fusers Blog Hop! This month, our color combination includes Blueberry Bushel, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Gray, and Basic Black.

This month’s color combination is dark! I have to be honest that with all the inspiring “Springy” products in the new January to June Mini and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs, I was in a much lighter mood. Therefore, I used some techniques to lighten things up, including watercoloring, lots of white, and vellum.
For my card, I created a background with the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp set by stamping with Basic Gray on Shimmery White Cardstock. Then, I used an Aqua Painter to watercolor with Basic Gray, Rich Razzleberry, and Blueberry Bushel. I love how the gray background makes the bright flowers pop!
Next, I used the Perfectly Framed stamp set to emboss the sentiment in white on Basic Black Cardstock. I totally LOVE that Stampin’ Up! designed a whole new stamp set to coordinate with the Ornate Frames Dies from the Holiday Catalog!!! Those dies were a particular favorite of mine, and I was thrilled that they carried over! Plus, the scripty font from the new set is beautiful!
There are two more really fun elements on this card that I’d like to point out. First is the subtle vellum die cut under the sentiment, which I cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I ADORE the unique shapes included with these dies. Second is the Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. That ribbon is AWESOME. It’s super thin, so you can add beauty without bulk. Plus, it’s silky and easily colored with stamps or blends! I highly recommend both products!
