Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2020

Hello, and welcome to the August Color Fusers Blog Hop! This month, we have a beautiful color combination of Purple Posy, Gorgeous Grape, and Granny Apple Green! Wow!!! These colors are just STUNNING.

For my card, I decided to keep things fairly simple (for me!) and focus on some ink blending and stamping on one main layer using the Forever Fern stamps. These stamps are so pretty that they don’t need much else.

I started by using Sponge Daubers to add Gorgeous Grape, Purple Posy, and Granny Apple Green ink to the left side of the Whisper White panel. Then, I randomly stamped with the same colors.

For the sentiment, I created a 3/4″ wide tag from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock using the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. I embossed the tag in white and then layered it over a second tag, made with Purple Posy Cardstock, and a trimmed-down section of a Square Vellum Doily.

Afterwards, I added a simple double bow tied with Linen Thread and some Elegant Faceted Gems.
