7 Days of Christmas : Day Two

My card today features the Ringed with Nature stamp set and coordinating Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder, which includes both an embossing folder and coordinating dies. One of the dies fits inside the embossing folder to both cut and emboss at the same time!

During Sale-A-Bration earlier this year, I grabbed some of the coordinating Rings of Love Designer Series Paper (DSP.) I hadn’t had much of a chance to use it until now. It’s such cute paper!!! The paper includes the pretty plaid and tree ring print shown on this card. In fact, I used the hybrid embossing folder to emboss and cut the tree ring right from the DSP.

I stamped the poinsettias, leaves, and berries with multiple colors of ink. For example, I inked up the poinsettias with Petal Pink, used a Sponge Dauber to add both Poppy Parade and Cherry Cobbler to the centers, then I lightly spritzed the stamp with water before stamping on Basic White Cardstock. Afterwards, I stamped the So Saffron centers. I stamped the leaves with Mint Macaron and Evening Evergreen ink and the berries with Cherry Cobbler.

When I grabbed my Evening Evergreen Cardstock, I noticed that I had a few leftover pine die-cuts from another project. They fell on my card and looked so pretty, I decided to add them to this card.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold, and then layered it over some beautiful Gold Shimmer Ribbon. As a final touch, I added some 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
