Beautiful Promenade

By | January 14, 2019

This week, the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog is featuring the Beautiful Promenade stamp set. This is one of my favorite stamp sets from the Annual Catalog on page 107. It also coordinates with the Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies.

My card is fairly simple. I stamped the main floral image two times using three different colors (Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, and Mango Melody) on Shimmery White Cardstock. Then, I added a little water with my Aqua Painter to blend the stamped images.

I used the coordinating thinlits to cut out the top flower, and then hand cut the bottom ones so I could leave a slightly larger border and show off some of the watermarks.

After slightly curling the flowers with a bone folder, I layered them with dimensionals.

I paired the stamped images with several new products from the Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration. These included the background papers (two different sheets from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper) and Lemon Lime Twist ribbon (Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack), both available for free with a $50 dollar purchase. It also includes some Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Supplies used on my card:

Hope you can join us this week at the What Will You Stamp Challenge Blog! I’ve love to see what you can create with this gorgeous stamp set.

Take care and have a great day!
