By | November 13, 2020

It’s time for a new TGIF Sketch Challenge! The sketch below is super versatile and leaves lots of room for interpretation. I decided to rotate it and use some early release products from the January-June Mini Catalog that are available to purchase now!!!

Stampin’ Up is now offering the Quite Curvy Bundle. It includes a whole suite of coordinating products that you can purchase between now and January when the new mini catalog goes live! Early release products include the Curvy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set.

#155364 Curvy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set – $21.00 USD

The Curvy Dies coordinate with both the Curvy Christmas and Quite Curvy Stamp Sets. Purchase the Quite Curvy Bundle for 10% off.

Or, you can simply buy the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle that includes both stamp sets, the coordinating dies and the 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack shown here.

For my card today, I used the Curvy Christmas stamp set and coordinating Curvy Dies. I paired them with an oldie but goodie, the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper (a returning item from last year.) I love the photographic images included with that paper, so I thought it would be fun to mix things up a little.

I used the Curvy Dies to cut up my background and then applied the pieces to a sheet of Vellum Paper, before adhering them to my card base.

Next, I created a sculpted oval frame from Whisper White Cardstock and several sizes of Layering Ovals Dies.

For the white oval background, I used Sponge Daubers to add Seaside Spray ink to the top and Highland Heather ink to the bottom. Then, I stamped the trees with Highland Heather ink.

The sentiment is embossed in silver, and then I added some sprigs cut from Whisper White, Vellum, and Seaside Spray Cardstock, as well as a bow tied with Metallic Mesh Ribbon and the white and silver strands from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

My final embellishment included some pretty Elegant Faceted Gems.

I hope you can join us this week for our challenge. Click over to the TGIF Challenges Blog to see all the designers’ projects. On that page, you can use the Linky Tool at the bottom to add your project. I’d love to see your beautiful creations!
