Happy TGIF!!! This week, TGIF Challenges has a Halloween inspiration challenge, and in fact, I took the challenge a step further and used the colors in the photo below as additional inspiration.
I created this fun mini pizza box, filled with Halloween treats, for my daughter, who’s in Southern California at college. It features both the Gather Together and Spooktacular Bash stamps, as well as the Gathered Leaves and Seasonal Layers Dies.
I stamped the images on Shimmery White Cardstock with Stazon and Cajun Craze ink. Then, I watercolored the pumpkin with Cajun Craze, Grapefruit Grove, and Soft Suede ink.
I cut out the pumpkin and Highlander Heather leaves with the Gathered Together Dies.
Tip: For the leaves, spritz the cardstock with water before running it through a die-cutting machine to enhance the embossing. It really makes a difference!!!
I cut the other leaves out of Shimmery White Cardstock using the Seasonal Layers Dies, and then I watercolored them with Cajun Craze and Grapefruit Grove ink. I also used those dies to cut the branches from Basic Gray Cardstock.
For a little added dimension, I embossed a strip of Basic Gray cardstock with the Corrugated 3D embossing folder.
Here a look at the goodies inside:)
