Botanical Gift Bag

Today is my monthly Stamp Club meeting!  My friends and I gather together once a month to make four projects and rotate hostesses.  It’s a great way to learn new stamping techniques and try out new products, while having fun visiting and catching up, as well as reaping the rewards of free hostess dollars!!! My project share for today is the door prize I made to give away tonight.  It’s another… Read More »

Old Retiring Favorites

Stampin’ Up! recently announced the list of retiring products.  Several of them are on sale and are available only while supplies last.  The best way to see an updated list and view the sale prices is to go directly to Stampin’ Up!’s website. One of my all time favorite stamp sets and coordinating framelits is retiring:  Botanical Blooms.  I love the tropical flowers and leaves in this set!!!  As of… Read More »

Shadow Stamping Technique

I have a fun technique to share with you today!  It’s called shadow stamping. This is the first time I’ve tried this technique, and I have to admit that it was much easier than I anticipated.  In order to do it, you need to choose a solid stamp such as the leaves on my background from the Botanical Blooms stamp set. Over the Top Gift Wrap

I love to create pretty gift wrapping for special people in my life, especially my mom.  She loves stamping as much as I do, and so I know she appreciates the effort, and I love to surprise her with really great “over the top” gifts.  Hopefully, by the time she reads this, the package will have arrived at her house and she would have at least seen the outside of… Read More »

While I’ve been trying to create one of these a month, I fell slightly behind in March, but I’ll try to make up for it by posting the April 2017 calendar design soon:) If you’d like to follow along with me, I’ll be creating one of these calendars a… Read More »

School Days Scrapbook

My daughter Shannon is graduating from High School this year.  It’s such an exciting time of her life.  It’s also a time for me to reflect on her childhood, which has gone by WAY too fast. When my kids were in pre-school, I started (and vowed to finish) school scrapbooks for each of them.  Each grade follows the following format:  A title page with their official school picture, filler pages… Read More »

Botanical Easter Basket

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!  I should have made a St. Patrick’s Day project!!!  Oh well, missed the boat there.  I have to admit that I don’t do that much celebrating for St. Patty’s Day.  I mostly just dress up in green and hide a few chocolate shamrocks and gold coins for the kids.  Now that one kid is away at college and the other one is so busy I hardly… Read More »
