#TGIGC490 — Sketch Challenge | Swimming In Stamps

Hi Friends! I’m a day late, but here’s my TGIF Challenge for this week. We have a sketch challenge that’s so cute!!! I love the background idea!

I just got home from an AMAZING two week vacation in France and London with my daughter. That’s why I’m a tad late in finishing my card. I got home late Sunday night and have been busy all week trying to catch up at work. But, it was SO worth it! We had the time of our lives; it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had and even more special because I shared it with my daughter.

The strips in the background reminded me of one of the dies in the Friends For Life bundle, so that’s what I used for this card. It was actually super simple to make. I picked one of the watercolor prints from the Full of Life Designer Series Paper and simply cut the strip dies from the DSP. No watercoloring involved.

I also cut the solid heart from Full of Life DSP. Then I cut the small hearts and outline heart from white Glimmer Paper.

For the “friend”, I adhered a Foam Adhesive Sheet to Basic Black Cardstock before die-cutting the word. That made it super easy to adhere.

The Black & White Gingham Ribbon was perfect to tie in the bold sentiment. Then, the final touch was a few Iridescent Foil Gems.
