For my project this week, I made a very special card for my sister Jill using the Feels Like Home Cling Stamp Set. (You can earn this stamp set for free during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase.)

I stamped the main image with Stazon ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and then used Water Painters to watercolored it with the inks listed below. This was truly a labor of love, but in a good way, because I love watercoloring and I love my sister. I feel like there’s no wrong way to watercolor. It can be very precise or messy and free flowing. My tip? Have a paper towel nearby. If you mess up, just add a little water and mop it up.
In the background, I have a little pop of color with the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper. I love how it brings out the blue in the bike.
I particularly love the sentiment on this card. It was exactly what I wanted to say. I embossed it in white on Early Espresso Cardstock and then cut it out so I wouldn’t hide my pretty watercoloring.
As a final touch, I added some pretty Fine Art Floral Ribbon and a few Artistry Blooms Sequins.
