Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!!! Hope you have a well deserved day of relaxation and recognition for all you do!
I’m writing a quick post to share a card I made for my daughter to give my husband today. When she was younger, she got the nickname “The Orange Mermaid” after a snorkeling trip at Molokini Crater in Maui. She had on an orange rash guard and bikini at the time, and looked so pretty diving down deep to view the pretty fish and coral formations, with her dolphin kick. After the excursion, one of the other snorkelers said, “Did anyone else see the Orange Mermaid?” The nickname stuck.
My husband and I love the fond memories of that trip, especially now that she lives away from home in Southern California. So when I told her I’d design a card for her for today, (inside which she added a personalized message), I thought of the pretty new Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and dug up my retired Magical Mermaid stamp set. It was perfect!
