Hello, and welcome back to the latest installment of my 2019 Desktop Calendars. I try to design one of these calendar pages each month for the following year, so by December, I have full sets to give out as Christmas presents. My friends and family love getting them each year.
The calendars measure 4″ x 6″ to fit in a standard frame. (That way, you can cut six calendars out of each 12″ x 12″ sheet of designer series paper.) In the photo below, I placed the calendar on top of an acrylic frame so I could get a good photo without a reflection.
I love choosing some of my favorite products to feature on these calendars. That way, I can stare at them for a whole month the following year! For the March 2019 calendars, I used Cake Soiree stamps and coordinating Sweet Cake Framelits Dies to create a bouquet of flowers. The leaf die cuts from this set are awesome, because you can cut them all out at once! It saves a lot of time.
I stamped the roses with Rich Razzleberry and Powder Pink ink on Whisper White cardstock to match with the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper I used in the background. Then, I cut them out with the coordinating dies. Next, I cut out roses from Shimmery White cardstock and watercolored them with the same ink colors as a layer behind the intricate rose die.
Tip: Before cutting out the delicate rose die (Rich Razzleberry) and leaves (Old Olive), attach Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to the back of the cardstock. That makes adhering the die cuts a snap!
For the March label, I used a retired stamp set called Project Life Date It. I embossed it in white on Basic Black Cardstock, and then punched it out with a Classic Label Punch. Then, I layered the punch over some coordinating ribbons with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I created a printable calendar page on My Memories Suite. To download the JPEG, click HERE. Print the JPEG on 8-1/2″ x 11″ Whisper White cardstock with the smallest margins possible for your printer. The days and numbers are colored Old Olive, so use a color printing setting. Each sheet will make 4 calendar layers. Trim each one down to 3″ x 5″ as follows:
