Sale-A-Bration will be over in one week! This is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale of the year, when you can earn free products with every $50 (level 1) and $100 (level 2) purchase. One of my favorite Sale-A-Bration products this year is the Blossoming Basket stamp set and coordinating Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folder. These products come in a bundle as a level 2 Sale-A-Bration gift, and the Basket Weave TIEF will be continuing as a product in the new Annual Catalog in June 2018. I used this awesome bundle on my projects today. I also used a sketch from the Global Design Project:
This is a great sketch!!! You can see all the amazing projects from the designers at the Global Design Project website.
Update: I’m a winner of the #GDP130!!!
For my project, I used some of my March Paper Pumpkin kit as a layer in the background. This beautiful pre-printed, vintage design is part of this month’s kit! I absolutely LOVE it!!!
I stamped the basket with Basic Black Archival ink on Shimmery White Paper so that I could watercolor the design. I ended up stamping it twice, so that I could cut out the flowers and pop them out to make the card 3-D.
On some of the cards, I used Soft Sky,Pool Party, and Sweet Sugarplum ink to watercolor the flowers. For the basket, I used Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, and Soft Suede ink. And then for the leaves, I used Pear Pizzazz.
Then on other cards, I used So Saffron, Crushed Curry, and Calypso Coral ink on the flowers. Which do you like best?
There were only four of those beautiful rose design layers in the Paper Pumpkin kit, so for my fifth card, I cut up one of the pre-printed envelopes for my background. Since the colors were more grayish, I paired it with a Smoky Slate card base.
All of these cards make me think of spring, flowers, and warm weather! I’m so ready for it!!!
Supplies used on my card:
Congrats on your win. Your cards are lovely. I still haven’t opened this PP kit!
