Another year of desktop calendars finished!!! Yippee! Last week, I promised to share my method for wrapping up the 12 individual calendar pages, so here we go.
I’m also giving you another sneak peek of one of the new products available to purchase from the new Mini Catalog on January 3, 2020 … the AWESOME new Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
While these calendars are Christmas gifts, the recipients will be using them throughout 2020, so I picked non-holiday wrapping. I placed all 12 calendar pages inside a 6″ x 8″ Cellophane Bag. Then, to make it look pretty, I cut a sheet of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper measuring 5-1/2″ x 6″ to place inside and decorate.
I used the new Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut all the layers and tags. This new die set is SO PRETTY with multiple shapes. I can already foresee that it’s going to be well used and loved!
I stamped the flowers and leaves with the Free As A Bird stamp set and the “2020” with the Make A Difference stamp set, using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then, I colored the flowers and leaves with the Stampin’ Blends colors listed at the bottom of this post and cut them out by hand.
I closed the packages with a strip of retired washi tape (so it’s easy to open and re-seal), and then created a little tag with the same dies and the Make A Difference stamp set. Tip: I adhered the designer series paper before cutting out the dies to get the stripe effect.
So here’s all eight … another year wrapped up and ready to give away as gifts (except one for me!). I feel an awesome sense of accomplishment.
Have a wonderful and creative day!
