#TGIFC532 — Color Challenge

By | July 4, 2025

Happy Friday and Happy 4th of July!!! This week, we have a new color challenge at TGIF Challenges including Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst, and Pumpkin Pie. I decided to use the Extraordinary Flora Bundle to create my project. It’s super fun, because you can stamp and die-cut numerous small images with one stamp and one die! It made all this layering super easy! (OK, I admit that I did stamp and die-cut two sets.)

I stamped the main image with Stazon ink on Basic White Cardstock and watercolored the images with the challenge colors, along with a few extras including Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freesia, and Peach Pie. The “color buddies” gave my flowers depth and the green was necessary for the leaves.

I used an Everyday Arches die-cut as a base to form my flower arch, and then I just started layering. I also added a subtle dry embossed layer in the background with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.

This bundle includes some great sentiments too!
