Happy Valentine’s Day!!! For today’s TGIF Sketch Challenge, I thought I’d make some Valentine treats! I used the darling Gift Bags Combo Pack (an Online Exclusive), which come in two sizes. They are perfect for handing out big or little favors to some of my favorite people.

I put a lot of effort into the larger bag, since I only made one. It features the Hearts of Elegance Bundle and beautiful Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper with gold foil accents. I also added some embellishments using the Round We Go Dies (for the scalloped border along the top), Birthday Celebration Dies (for the the tassel), and Heart Shaped Dies (for some of the leaves.)

I love this bundle with it’s great sentiments, various heart dies, and pretty florals! To stamp the flowers, I inked up the stamp with Melon Mambo ink, stamped off once to lighten the color, and then used a Sponge Dauber to add Cherry Cobbler ink to the center of the stamp. Afterwards, I gave the stamp a spritz of water before stamping on Basic White Cardstock. I think the watercolor effect is so pretty!
I also heat embossed the sentiment in gold on both Melon Mambo and Basic White Cardstock and cut it apart. That way, the pretty detailed gold heart underneath was more visible. For the layer of Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper, I used one of the larger heart dies to cut a negative heart and then popped up the layer with Dimensionals. But, my favorite part of the bag is the gold tassel! I used the Birthday Celebration Dies to cut the two tassel dies twice each from Gold Foil and layered them on top of each other for a nice thick tassel. Then, I wrapped the top with some Gold Twisted Thread.
For the smaller bags, I created a simpler design since I made eight. (Only seven are in the photos because I had already given one to my husband for a client.)

For the smaller bags, I used the Heart Shaped Bundle and Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper (both are Sale-A-Bration products you can earn for free with qualifying purchases.)

I layered two of the pretty heart vine die-cuts (Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo for the pink bags and Flirty Flamingo and Peach Pie for the peach bags) over a Birthday Celebration banner die-cut from Basic White Cardstock.
Next, I pre-painted some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo ink for the flowers and Granny Apple Green and Shy Shamrock ink for the leaves and used the Heart Shaped Dies to cut them out.
My bags are also decorated with some Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim, Shiny Sequins (more Online Exclusives which are being retired soon), and Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins.
