Happy Friday! This week, our TGIF Challenge focuses on Sale-A-Bration products! Sale-A-Bration continues through the end of February 2025, and during that time, you can earn FREE products with qualifying orders. In fact, I used three on my card today: The Heart Shaped Bundle ($120 USD level), Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP) ($60 USD level), and Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins ($60 USD level.) I absolutely LOVE them all!!!
The Heart Shaped Bundle includes the Heart Shaped Photopolymer Stamps and Heart Shaped Dies. My particular favorites are the delicate heart shaped vine stamp, similar shaped die-cut, and those adorable little flowers. And, the sentiments are super cute too! I paired those products with the Hearts Of Elegance Dies on this card to create the focal image. I also used the Bloom Impressions DSP to cut one of the hearts and used that color combination (Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, and Peach Pie) as inspiration for the entire card.
In the background, I watercolored a layer of Basic White Cardstock with Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo ink. Then, I stamped the heart shaped vine numerous times with Peach Pie ink (stamped off on scratch paper once to lighten the color.) I also added Flirty Flamingo splatter. After the layer dried, I used the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture.
To create the small flowers and vines, I randomly painted Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, and Peach Pie ink. Then, I used that paper to die-cut. Painting first and then die-cutting helps to maintain the quality of the embossed lines on the die-cuts.
The darling sentiment is from the Heart Shaped Stamps, and the label die-cut is part of the coordinating dies. The final touch was the white sequins from the Sale-A-Bration pack.
