#TGIFC370 – Fabulous Frames

By | May 27, 2022

It’s Friday and that means a new TGIF Challenge. This week, our focus is frames, so I decided to feature the new Fabulous Frames Dies from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. It’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine!

I mixed some old and new products for this card. I used the Forever Fern stamp set for the sentiment, along with the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies to cut the pretty fern in the background. Then, the Fabulous Frames Dies are brand new and so is the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper that I colored and cut out for all the flowers. That paper is printed in black and white, so it’s just perfect for coloring with Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Since this whole challenge is about frames, I used three of the unique dies from the Fabulous Frames set,: one for the frame, one for all the corner pieces, and one for the sentiment. The dies both cut and emboss. Then, to enhance the pretty embossing even more, I used Sponge Daubers to add Gray Granite ink and Craft White ink to the Sahara Sand frames.

After cutting out the flowers, I colored them with the following Stampin’ Blends Markers: Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Parakeet Party, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Sweet Sorbet, Polished Pink, , Poppy Parade Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss.

Then, in the background, I used the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a sheet of Basic White Cardstock that I had colored in an ombre pattern with a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink.
