#TGIFC522 — Inspiration Challenge

By | April 25, 2025

Welcome to a new TGIF Challenge. This week, we have a product challenge to use alphabets. So I decided to use the new Party Alphabet Dies from the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog going live on May 6th. These dies are BIG and BOLD and super fun!!!

I won’t be able to see my mom on Mother’s Day, so this is a virtual way to send her an early wish. She’s such an amazing mom and deserves the best!

I cut the Party Alphabet Dies from Basic White Cardstock and then used the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder (another product from the new Annual catalog) to dry emboss portions of the letters.

The flower and leaf die-cuts are part of the Happy Hibiscus Bundle (an Online Exclusive.) I cut them all out of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. For the flowers, I watercolored them with Peach Pie and Calypso Coral ink. Then, I used the rounded end of my stylist to curve the petals. For the leaves. I prepainted watercolor paper with Soft Sea Foam and Basic Beige ink.

The Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon is also from the new Annual catalog. You’re going to love it, because it’s super thin and easy to tie. It’s perfect for mailing!!!

As a final touch, I added a bunch of Iridescent Pearls.

Be sure to check out all the designers’ projects this week on the TGIF Challenges Blog. Then, use the inspiration photo to create one of your own and enter our challenge!
