This is my last post in a series of three to share projects created for my OnStage presentation featuring the Sweet Citrus Bundle. This bundle will be part of the upcoming January-June Mini Catalog going live on January 5, 2023.
While this bundle was designed to create citrus fruit, when I first saw the rind stamp, I saw the outline of coconuts! So I decided to design a tropical card to show something completely different.
I used the “rind” stamp to stamp the coconuts with Soft Suede ink on Shimmery White Cardstock and then used a Water Painter to add “hairs” to the outside and paint the illusion of a hollow inside with Smoky Slate ink.
Then, I used the flower dies and Polished Pink and Pumpkin Pie ink to paint tropical Plumeria flowers and added a few Palm Dies to finish the tropical look.
Another fun element on this card is the Linen Paper that I used in the background. I frayed the ends and then manipulated the cloth to make it look like soft folds.
I had so much fun creating all these projects with the Sweet Citrus Bundle.
