Welcome to the February Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. The weather is our inspiration this month, from sunshine to rainbows, raindrops and puddles, and everything in-between. I had to get pretty creative for this one, because I didn’t own many products that fit the theme, but I’m pleased with the results!

I started my project by looking through my stash for anything weather related and found this great sentiment in the Beach Day stamp set. That made me think of rainbows and flowers, so I was off and running.
I heat embossed the sentiment on a label cut with the Unbounded Love Dies. That particular die creates a scalloped border that’s separate from the inside. So I cut four borders and adhered them together for some dimension.

I created the rainbow with the Everyday Arches Dies and Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper. I also used that paper in the background. It’s so pretty and enhances the theme of bright sunshine.
For the flowers, I used the Flowers of Beauty Dies. I cut the stem from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and all the flowers from Basic White. Those dies include strips that cut numerous flowers at the same time, so I easily cut them all with one pass through my die-cutting machine. Afterwards, I slightly shaped the die-cut flowers around the end of a stylist and adhered the small ones to the large ones.
Lastly, I added the white sequins from the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins pack, as well as a few Brushed Brass Butterflies. (You can earn both of these Sale-A-Bration products for free through the end of February with qualifying purchases while supplies last.)
