Hello and welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop for October 2025. Our theme this month is “Joy To The World.” We’re all in full holiday cardmaking mode! With all the fantastic holiday products to choose from in the SD Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives, I bet the designers have dreamed up some amazing projects. I can’t wait to see them all.
For my project, I used products from the Traditions Of Christmas Suite Collection. This huge mega suite includes two stamp/die bundles and is featured on the cover and pages 21-27 of the SD Mini Catalog. I absolutely love the traditional colors of the designer series paper, poinsettia flowers, and pine dies.

For my project today, I decided I wanted to watercolor one of the focal images from the Christmas Greenery Stamp Set. I embossed it in gold and then watercolored with Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Pool Party ink.
The coordinating Christmas Greenery Dies include both the pine and the bow pieces. I cut the pines from different sides of Old Olive Two-Tone Cardstock and then blended them with Pool Party and Old Olive ink for some depth. I cut the bow from Gold Foil and used a Bone Folder to shape it before adhering it to my card front.

In the background, I used a layer cut from the light side of some Pool Party Two-Tone Cardstock. After blending the edges and corners with Pool Party ink, I dry emboss it with the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder and then added Old Olive splatter..

The sentiments on both outside and inside are from the Traditional Labels stamp set, again embossed in gold. (I love gold embossing on holiday cards! It’s so festive.) I also included my favorite print of the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Did you hear about the Traditions Of Christmas Online Class that Stampin’ Up! is teaching on October 23? (You can read about it in my October Newsletter.) Of course, I HAD to sign up since I bought the whole suite. I’m so excited to try out this new class offering! It’s not often that I get to attend a class taught by someone else, so it’s a fun change. After signing up, I downloaded all the cutting instructions for the event and got all my materials prepped. I wanted to make sure I didn’t accidentally use something I would need for the class. Not that I really had to worry, as I still had lots of papers. But nonetheless, this project includes the leftovers. 🙂

Be sure to continue on through the rest of the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop to see the other designers’ projects using this month’s theme. You’re sure to be inspired!
