Stamping Sunday Blog Hop – Gorgeous Gifts with Delicate Pines

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop for November 2025. Our theme this month is “Gorgeous Gifts.” I love using my stamping products to create beautiful gifts and tags! This is especially true at Christmas when an over the top tag can really elevate a gift to make it seem extra special.

Since I’ve been working with the Delicate Pines Bundle for my online class coming up this Thursday and Friday, I thought I’d use it to make three special holiday tags. A lot of the techniques I used on these tags are very similar to the ones I’ll be demonstrating during my online class. It’s not too late to sign up for Option 2!

Each tage uses the Branching Out Dies as a base, layered with Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper and different color combinations.

For my first tag, I used a color combination of Garden Green, Basic White, and Crumb Cake. I used some Garen Green Two-Tone Cardstock to die-cut the leaves and pines and then blended them with Garden Green ink for subtle shading. Then, I blended Garden Green ink on Basic White Cardstock before embossing the larger snowflake. To finish, I added some Garden Green splatter, Wink of Stella highlights, and lots of layers!

I used the Hole Punch Assortment Pack to punch a hole in the top of each tag. Tip: Use a ruler to draw a small line in the center of the tag and use it to line up the punch.

For my second tag, I used a color combination of Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Shaded Spruce, Basic White, and gold. First, I dry embossed the Branching out die-cut with the Traditional Wreath Embossing Folder. Then, I die-cut some of the leaves from Lost Lagoon Two-Tone Cardstock and some from Basic White Cardstock that I had blended with Shaded Spruce and Pool Party ink. After blending the cardstock, I splattered the paper with water drops and let it dry. I also used a Sponge Dauber to add Versamark ink to the tips of some of the leaves and add white heat embossing. For the smaller snowflakes, I blended Basic White Cardstock with Shaded Spruce ink and then added water splatter. After it dried, I heat embossed the snowflakes in gold and white.

To embellish, I added Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Berries, Shaded Spruce & Gold Edges Trim and tied it with Gold Twisted Thread.

For my last tag, I used a color combination of Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Gold. I used a Blending Brush to add Pretty Peacock ink to Basic White Cardstock for the snowflakes and to Old Olive Cardstock for the leaves. Then, I heat embossed the snowflakes in white and embellished with both Vellum and Pretty Peacock Two-Tone Cardstock die-cut pines. To create the pinecones, I die-cut them from Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Cardstock. Then, I blended the detailed die-cuts with Early Espresso ink and added some gold heat embossing to portions. Embellishments include more of those beautiful berries and some Mossy Meadow & Gold Ribbon, as well as some retired Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon.

Now, I just need to buy the gifts!!! Ha! But, I’m one step closer to creating my gorgeous gifts for Christmas.
