This month, our Stampin’ Fancy Friday theme is Red or Pink Amour. What a perfect theme for the month of love, right? I decided to use the beautiful Marbled Elegance Suite Collection (#164923) available in the Online Exclusives portion of my online store. This suite includes the Hearts of Elegance Bundle (photopolymer stamps and coordinating dies), Marbled Elegance Specialty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (DSP), Gold Twisted Thread, Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins, and Gift Bags Combo (not used here.) It’s absolutely beautiful!

I love both red and pink equally, but decided to choose pink for this challenge, including Melon Mambo and Pretty In Pink. Pretty In Pink is such a perfect light pink! I also added gold accents since the Marbled Elegance DSP includes gold foil, which is so elegant and pretty.
I heat embossed the upper heart in gold and then used the dies to cut out all the hearts. There are so many pretty options from the Marbled Elegance DSP!
In the background, I watercolored a light wash with Melon Mambo ink and then dry embossed the entire layer with the Soft Waves 3D Embosssing Folder. I love how this folder adds movement to my projects without detracting from the main focus.
I also really love the font of the sentiments in this stamp set! I heat embossed this one in white on Melon Mambo Cardstock and wrapped the left portion behind the top layer.
The final touch was some Gold Heart Sequins and a fancy bow tied with the Gold Twisted Thread. I LOVE that thread so much! It’s right up there with Linen Thread in my book; nice and thin and easily mailable.
Here’s a look at the inside. This time, I heat embossed the heart in gold on Melon Mambo Cardstock and stamped the sentiment with Melon Mambo ink. It also shows a little more of that gorgeous Marbled Elegance DSP.
I hope this card has inspired you. While it’s super girly, you could easily change the colors and use a similar design to also make a masculine card.
