Stampin’ Fancy Friday – In Colors

This month, our Stampin’ Fancy Friday theme is to create projects using any of the Stampin’ Up! In Colors. I love the In Colors! In fact, each time there’s a new annual catalog, they are the first thing on my wish list, because there’s nothing like new colors to inspire my creativity. Each year, Stampin’ Up! introduces five new In Colors that will be available for two years. They work with the classic colors to keep the entire color palette fresh and on trend.

For my project today, I used four In Colors – Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Timid Tiger, and Peach Pie.

My card features the Gallery Blooms Bundle and the coordinating Beautiful Motifs Dies from the same suite collection. I heat embossed the flowers in white on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and watercolored the petals and leaves.

I also die-cut some of the leaves from Timid Tiger Two-Tone Cardstock and watercolored them for some shading. Have you tried two-tone paper yet? It’s super fun and a great way to add subtle variations to your projects. I also used Secret Sea Two-Tone Cardstock for some of the other die-cuts and one of the layers.

In the background, I created a woven pattern with Celebratory Sips and 2025-2027 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers.. I was inspired by a card created by Kaitlyn for Stampin’ Through The Catalog last month and thought it would be fun to give it a try! In the monthly video, she shows how to create the woven checkerboard.
