Stampin’ Fancy Friday — Floral Delight Challenge

This month, our theme at Stampin’ Fancy Friday is to create a project using any florals! We all love florals, right? One of my current favorites is the Gallery Blooms Bundle and coordinating suite of products. I love the antique look of the Beautiful Motifs Dies, gorgeous Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper, and Damask Designs Embossing Folder!

For my card, I added lots of gold embossing to go with the antique look of the products. I dragged the edge of the background layer of Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper along a Versamark ink pad and then added gold embossing powder. Similarly, I used a Sponge Dauber to add Versamark ink to the sides and some of the raised areas of my frame as well as the tips of the fern die-cut. Prior to heat setting the gold embossing, I used a dry paint brush to wipe away any excess powder.

After stamping and embossing the flower on the lower right, I used Calypso Coral ink to lightly watercolor the petals for just a touch of color.

The sentiment is from the More Messages Bundle. That bundle included one big stamp with multiple sentiments. It also has one big coordinating die to cut them all out. While I only used one of the sentiments on this card, I keep a bag of all the additional ones for future projects.

To embellish my card, I added some Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon from the Celebratory Sips Suite as well as some Antique Pearls. They are both stunning in real life.
