This month, our theme for Stampin’ Fancy Friday is color combinations! Inspiration is everywhere including the beautiful samples in the Stampin’ Up! catalogs, nature, advertisements, social media, … literally anything. All the designers are selecting color combinations and telling what inspires us.

My color combination was inspired by my grand-niece Blaire who’s about to have her first birthday! My sister (her grandma) shares adorable photos and videos with us all the time, and in one she was saying “Daisy.” Daisy is her siamese cat, but she calls ALL cats Daisy. This story inspired me to create a card with daisies and pick a color combination of Lemon Lolly. Pool Party, Misty Moonlight, and Basic Beige. I started with Lemon Lolly for the daisies and then selected soft colors that would coordinate from the Country Woods Suite Collection.
I used the Cheerful Daisies Dies to cut all the flowers and then colored the centers with Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. Then, I cut a tub using the Country Flowers Dies and Country Woods Designer Series Paper, which I shaded with Pool Party and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment is from the Friends for Life Stamp Set and I used the Mini Alphabet Dies to spell her name.
On the inside, I just had to include a cat! The only one I had was from the Cheerful Basket Stamps, which doesn’t really look like a siamese, but … I tried. Haha!
