This week, Stampin’ Through The Catalog (#SSTCchallenge) is focusing on the Spooktacular Bash stamp set! You can find it, along with all the coordinating products, on pages 52 to 54 of the Holiday Catalog. It’s such a cute set that I decided to whip up some Halloween treat boxes this weekend and play along.
To create the boxes, I used the Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies. The box die fits on a piece of 6″ x 6″ paper, which means I can cut four boxes out of each sheet of 12″ x 12″ Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. The boxes are SUPER easy to construct too! Simply use a Bone Folder to slightly curl all four sides, fold together, and notch the top.
I decorated each box with a fun tag using the Spooktacular Bash stamp set. I stamped all the images with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White Cardstock and then colored them with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
The images in this stamp set are adorable! And the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies make it super quick and easy to cut them out and embellish with frames and tags. In fact, these dies are not just for Halloween. They are so pretty, and there are so many different shapes and options, that I can easily see them becoming one of my go-to favorites.
My favorite image is the mummy!!! He’s just so freaking cute and fun to color!
This stamp set has lots of great images and sentiments. Stamp them as is, or just use a portion like I did on my mummy tag.
I used several different ribbons to tie my boxes, but this Basic Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon is just perfect for Halloween!
Have a great day!!!
