Hello Friends! Today I have two more cards to share that I created with the new Forever Fern stamps and coordinating Forever Greenery Suite of products. All of these items are included in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog coming out on June 3, 2020!
Last weekend, I made the seven cards shown above, plus two more. I shared two yesterday for the Control Freaks Blog Hop, and I’ll be sharing the rest in multiple posts this week.
The Forever Greenery Suite of products includes the Greenery Embossing Folders. There are two separate embossing folders (one of which I used on the cards above.) They are sized smaller than typical embossing folders, but there’s a reason. The new catalog also includes TWO new die cutting and embossing machines! There’s a full sized and a mini machine, to meet all your needs whether you’re crafting at home and on-the-go. The smaller embossing folders fit both machines!
For both my cards, I used the Greenery Embossing Folder with Whisper White Cardstock, layering it over Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. On the card above, I used the Forever Fern stamps to stamp and emboss the sentiment in white. I also used the splatter stamp to add Pretty Peacock ink to the white side of the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper label. Then, I stamped the leaf with Pretty Peacock ink and colored it with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. After adding Forever Flourishing Die Cuts from Pretty Peacock, Just Jade, and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, I added a fun loop with the gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.
I used another new product, Tasteful Labels Dies, on both projects to cut out the sentiments.
The card above uses some slightly different colors with gold embossing for the sentiment. This time, I flipped some of the laser-cuts over to show the gold side! I also unraveled the gold trim, which is super easy to do by pulling a few strands. Finally, I added a few strips of Just Jade 1/4″ 2020-2021 In Color Ribbon. Love that new In Color!!!
