I’m back to share more sneak peeks of the Forever Greenery Suite, including the gorgeous Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper and Greenery Embossing Folders! Today, I’ll be sharing the last three cards from the photo above, and then Friday, I have two more using entirely different colors!
The laser-cuts in this suite are so fun and inspirational! I based the design of almost all of my cards on these delicate elements. I had a great time mixing, matching, and flipping them around from the gold to the white side to see what looked best. I seemed to gravitate to white-on-white for an overall clean look, and then used the gold side for focal points.
I particularly love the wreath laser-cut below. I layered it over another background design, and then used some smaller leaf laser-cuts under the bow. For the sentiment, I embossed the Forever Fern stamp in gold on Vellum and layered it over a Pear Pizzazz Layering Circles Die Cut. Finally, I stamped the beautiful DistINKtive images using Garden Green ink full strength and stamped-off once. Then, I colored them with Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. I dry embossed the background layer of Whisper White Cardstock with the new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
For my next card, I gravitated to a softer color palette of Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzazz. The background is a layer of Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper, emphasized with white and gold laser-cuts. For a little added sparkle, because who doesn’t like sparkles, I added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
My third card features one of the Greenery Embossing Folders. I particularly love the flow of the design of this one. I topped off the card with a strip of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock cut with an Ornate Border Die and a couple banners cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies. Finally, I tied the whole card with some Linen Thread and added a strip of Forever Greenery Trim, where I pulled a couple of the loosely woven strands in the middle to create gathers. I stamped the sentiment with Garden Green ink using the Forever Fern stamps and cut it out with a Classic Label Punch.
