This week, I’ve been posting lots of card ideas using the new Forever Fern stamps and coordinating Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. Both of items, plus the entire coordinating Forever Greenery Suite will be available to purchase in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog on June 3, 2020. Today, I’m sharing two more cards with an entirely different color palette.
The Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper comes in a pack of six pre-cut 12″ x 12″ sheets (three each of two designs.) One side is gold foil and the other is white. One of the labels is a big circle that I decided to carefully cut in half to create these two cards.
This particular laser-cut reminded me of a sun, so I decided to create blended backgrounds using Melon Mambo and Mango Melody ink. I used Sponge Daubers to gently apply the ink to Whisper White Cardstock in an ombre design.
I layered the half circle laser-cuts over background laser-cuts. Then, I embossed the sentiments on Gold Foil and Whisper White and cut them out with a Tasteful Labels Die. That die also reminds me of a sun, so it worked perfectly!!! Afterwards, I embellished with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
