It’s time for a new 2020 desktop calendar! Each month, I try to design a page for the following year, give or take a few weeks:) I make eight sets of these cute little 4″ x 6″ calendars and then give them away as Christmas gifts.
My May calendar features one of my favorite retired stamp sets — Floral Frames, as well as the coordinating Foliage Frames Dies. I stamped the images with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Whisper White Cardstock, cut them out, and then colored with Stampin’ Blends. (See below for colors.)
You may not notice this immediately, but I used a new product on this page as well! I cut some of the leaf dies from the gorgeous new Perennial Essence Vellum!!!
The background paper measures 4″ x 6″ and is cut from the lovely Floral Romance Designer Series Paper. Making these calendars is a great way for me to use up my leftover retired papers!!!
To write the month, I stamped the individual letters from the Make A Difference stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink. Tip: If you make a little mistake lining up the stamps, use a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker or a Blender Pen to make corrections.
I created the calendar pages using My Memories Suite software. You can download a printable JPEG HERE. Print the May calendar on Whisper White Cardstock with the smallest margins possible for your printer. the print is black. I designed the pages to go all the way to the edges of a standard 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock. Trim as follows:
I actually have my June and July 2020 calendars designed and cut out. I just need to color and assemble, so be on the look out for my next installments soon.
Have a great weekend!
