Hello and Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by. Today, I’m sharing my June 2020 desktop calendar page. If you follow my blog, you know that I design these little 4″ x 6″ calendar pages each month for the following year. That way, by the time December rolls around, I have eight sets to give away as Christmas gifts.
I love browsing through my favorite current and retired stamps and papers of the season to pick out supplies for these calendars. This is the one time I allow myself to use retired products, and it’s a great way to use up my stash and make room for new stuff!
For June 2020, I used the retired Humming Along stamp set and coordinating Hummingbird Dies. I LOVE hummingbirds so much! It makes me so happy when I see them buzzing around my garden.
I stamped the images on Whisper White Cardstock and colored them with Stampin’ Blends Markers, including a brand new color … So Saffron! I have to admit that it took me a few tries to figure out a color combination I liked, so there are a few coloring variations.
Before assembling, I thought the background needed a little something, so I added a scalloped square die embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. A little dimension and texture is always a good idea!
I created the calendar pages using My Memories Suite software. You can download a printable JPEG HERE. Print the June calendar on Whisper White Cardstock with the smallest margins possible for your printer. the print is black. I designed the pages to go all the way to the edges of a standard 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock. Trim as follows:
