Hello and Happy Friday! Today, I have a quick post to share two Easter gift boxes I made for my kids. I love creating pretty gift boxes, and Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy…

For both boxes, I started with Stampin’ Up! Mini Shipping Boxes. These are good sized boxes. I fit an entire bag of Dove chocolate eggs in one and an entire bag of Hersey’s chocolate eggs inside the other, with a little room to spare! Then, I taped them shut with real shipping tape underneath the belly band, so they would stay closed.
For both boxes, I cut a strip of designer series paper measuring 3″ x 12″ to create a belly band. Then, I wrapped the gifts with ribbon and started decorating.

I kept the decorations fairly simple. For my daughters, I used Stampin’ Blends Markers to color Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper and then cut out the flowers by hand. I layered those over a couple Stitched So Sweetly Dies (one embossed with the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder) and added a couple die cut leaves from the Ornate Border Dies. Finally, I added the sentiment from Word Wishes Dies.

To create a more masculine version for my son, I used Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper and Braided Burlap Ribbon. The decoration on top is simply a Tropical Oasis Memories and More Card that I cut out by hand. Easy peasy!

Wishing you the best and a safe and happy weekend!
