Hello Stamping Friends! In case you missed my last post, I’ve been a little out of sorts recovering from an infection in my leg that started over the holidays. I’m definitely on the mend, and my leg is feeling better every day. My energy level is also returning. It’s amazing how much an infection zaps your will to do anything!!! Ha! Anyway, I’m slowly getting back to my old routine, including work, exercise, and of course stamping. Hopefully, I’ll get my Christmas decorations put away this weekend!
In the meantime, I wanted to share some adorable get well cards that a few of my super thoughtful customers/friends sent. They are both DARLING! I was completely caught off guard when they arrived, and both meant so much to me. It’s a nice reminder what a difference handmade cards can make! When I think about the fact that someone thought of me, took the effort to make a card, write a handwritten note, and mail it, it feels absolutely amazing! 🙂
This first card was made by Rhonda Swang. I love the rounded corners and sweet dry embossed band-aids. The background features a dry embossed layer using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and the center of the band-aids feature heart die-cuts from the Give It A Whirl Dies. The center of the bandages are embossed with a retired SU! embossing folder and the rest of the card includes non Stampin’ Up! stamps and dies. I love the textures and bright colors and think this card is absolutely adorable!
The second card was made by Debbie Lindauer. She used the Back on Your Feet Stamp Set and colored it with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I think her coloring is absolutely AMAZING!!! All the little animals are so cute, and I love the fancy fold design.
The photo below shows the entire card, when opened. (I used Adobe Photoshop to remove the personalized message.) Again, it’s an absolutely adorable and so appreciated!
