Today, I’m sharing my Sneak Peek project. I love this bundle! There are so many cute elements, and the tree and ornament dies not only cut out the stamps, but produce cool outline shapes as well!
For my card, I used a sheet of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper in the background and took inspiration from the colors including Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, and Calypso Coral.
To stamp my large tree, I inked up the stamp with Calypso Coral ink, stamped off on scratch paper four times, and then used a Sponge Dauber to add Real Red and Cherry Cobbler ink. Then, I spritzed the stamp and stamped on Shimmery White Paper. After the paper dried, I added the ornament stamp with Cherry Cobbler ink. For the smaller tree, I inked up with Real Red, stamped off once, and then added Cherry Cobbler ink with a Sponge Dauber. I love stamping with multiple colors.
I also love Glimmer Paper on Christmas cards, so I added some Real Red & White Glimmer trees and outlines.
To create my label, I used the Seasonal Labels Dies and cut it from Shimmery White Cardstock. After embossing some snowflakes in white, I added some watercoloring with very watered down Real Red ink.
Final touches were some Festive Sequins, Glittered Organdy Ribbon, and a dry embossed background using the Wintery Embossing Folder.
I hope you can join us at the Crafty Carrot Co. this October for some fun and inspirational crafting. I’ve got a some fun ideas brewing for my project.
Have a wonderful day!
