Color Fusers Blog Hop – October 2025

Welcome to a new Color Fusers Blog Hop! For the month of October, we have a very earthly color combination that I thought would be perfect for the Branching Out Bundle. I just recently purchased this set and was dying to give it a try. I love the pine dies and great labels!

I decided to create a shaker card with several of the labels. Plus, I had some beautiful Loose Gold Sequins sitting around that I thought would really brighten up the project.

In the background, I used a layer of Woven Textures Designer Series Paper colored Pecan Pie (one of my all time favs!!!) I stamped some of the pine needles directly onto the designer series paper with Memento ink for a subtle look. Next, I used a Blending Brush to add Old Olive ink to the background of the window.

After creating the window with some Foam Adhesive Strips, I got to the fun part, decorating!

To create my pines, I used Blending Brushes to add both Mossy Meadow and Old Olive ink to Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then, I added water splatter over the layer for lots of color variation.

I die-cut the berries from Basic White Cardstock and then used Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the stems, leaving the berries white.

Next, I die-cut the pinecones from Pecan Pie Cardstock and added shading with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

On the inside, I layered some leftover die-cuts and paper and added a sentiment from the Words For The Season Stamp Set.
