Color Fusers Blog Hop – November 2020

Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for November! This month, we have a bright and beautiful color combination including Bumblebee, Poppy Parade, and Shaded Spruce. It immediately made me think of Christmas!!!

For my card, I used the Wishes & Wonder Bundle, including the Wishes & Wonder Cling Stamp Set and North Pole Wonder Dies, as well as several coordinating embellishments. This is one of my favorite suites because of the traditional images, such as the old-fashioned sleigh and majestic reindeer.

I used Shimmery White Cardstock and gold embossing for the sleigh, circle and mistletoe so I could easily add watercoloring. Then, I cut the reindeer out of Brushed Metallic Cardstock.

In the background, I used a strip of Tis’ the Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, as well as some beautiful Plush Poinsettia Specialty Designer Series Paper. Then, I cut out a few North Pole Wonder Dies tags and used the bottom edge to create a fun edging.

Next, I embossed the greeting in white on Basic Black Cardstock and cut out the words I wanted.

Since Bumblebee coordinates so will with gold, as a final touch, I added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and some gold cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack. I pulled apart the cord into individual strands, and then tied a bow.
