Today, I have a quick idea for a small holiday gift. This is a bag I used for a door prize at my Stamp Workshop last week. It’s easy to put together, but looks like you put in a lot of effort. (Gotta love that!!!)
To start out, I stamped the greeting from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White paper and quickly embossed it in clear, just to give it a little shine. Then, I added some strips of Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape and layered it on top of a Lots of Labels die cut.
Next, I punched out a bow from Gold Foil, and used a Bone Folder to curl it into shape, before adhering it together with Fast Fuse or Glue Dots.
I really wanted to use some of the Green Sprigs to give my bag a festive feel. However, they are a little bulky, so I ended up using hot glue to make sure they stayed put, as well as my label. Lastly, I layered some pretty ribbon and Linen thread, and voila … done.
You literally cannot go wrong with these Striped Treat Bags. They are beautiful and perfect for the holidays.
