By | March 24, 2015

Hope you’re starting your week off right.  It’s Tuesday, so that means new Weekly Deals and Sale-A-Bration inspiration.  I also have some news about the new Stamps In the Mail round that will be starting up next month.  So, let’s get right to it.  Here are the new weekly deals, including several of my favorite and most used items…the Petite Petals Punch and Gold Fancy Designer Vellum Foil.  I also adore those Fringe Scissors!  They are so fun to use and make great flower centers, as well as grass (perfect for Easter), and whimsical trims for your projects.

New Stamps In the Mail Coming:

I’m starting to plan for the next round of Stamps In the Mail, and I want to hear from you about which stamp set to feature over the next three months!  What’s Stamp in the Mail?  It’s like having Stamp Club, but in the comfort of your own home, and on your own time.  For a monthly fee of $45, you receive approximately $32 of Stampin’ Up! products each month, including the featured stamp set the first month, along with supplies and instructions to make four cards each month.  All the cards use the same stamp set, so you learn to make the most out of it.  In subsequent months, the Stampin’ Up! products you receive will be used on the projects.  I also work hard to incorporate unique and trendy techniques.  The step by step instructions include lots of photos so it’s easy to follow along and assemble the cards. I’ve had rave reviews from my existing customers.  Sound like something you might be interested in?  Contact me for more details.

Here are the stamp sets that I’m considering for the next round of Stamps In the Mail.  If you want to participate, please email me with your vote for the featured set:

Sale-A-Bration Inspiration:

Easter is coming up in a few weeks, so I’ve been working on Easter cards.  There are several cute Easter related stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog.  One that you might not immediately think of is the Crazy About You stamp set and coordinating Hello You thinlits dies, which I’m featuring today and which you can purchase in a bundle for 15% off, along with the Sale-A-Bration Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack.  But, I was thrilled to notice that among the multitude of greeting combinations included in the Crazy About You stamp set, is has an Easter greeting!

I’m still enjoying flipping through all the different vellum in the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack.  Seriously, there are SO MANY cute designs!!!  And, what I love the most is that it’s so easy to change the look of the vellum by simply changing  the color of the card stock I place underneath.  Today, I wanted soft subtle colors, so I paired the leaf print vellum with Soft Sky card stock.  I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color the back of the vellum.  This is so easy to do!  Simply use the brush end of the marker.  I started by coloring all the leaves Wild Wasabi, then I used a Garden Green marker (again the brush tip) to draw leaf veins.

For my big flower, I stamped it multiple times in Blushing Bride, sponging Calypso Coral around the edges prior to stamping.  I used the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch to cut out the whole flower, then I hand cut out the smaller ones and adhered them with glue dots.  I created the smaller Calypso Coral flower the same way, but with no sponging.

I just love the Calypso Coral Pompom Trim!  In order to add it under the flower, I cut it in half and removed one of the pompoms so my flower would lay flat.

Here’s a fun way to adhere the Hello You thinlit words…use staples!  Super easy and trendy!!!
