For today’s inspiration, I have a thank you card made from the Painted Petals stamp set. This set works so well with watercoloring! It’s amazingly easy to create this look, yet it looks so pretty. If you missed the Technique Thursday where I explained how to do it, simply stamp on watercolor paper, then spritz with clear water until you get the desired amount of bleed. It’s best to do this technique one color at a time. I admit that I was a little impatient on this one, and I stamped the Blackberry Bliss and Pacific Point flowers together, then spritzed. It worked because the two colors blend well. After those two colors dried, I stamped all the Wild Wasabi stems and leaves, and then spritzed again.
Another tip is to let the paper dry on its own between colors. If you use a heat tool, it can add water marks, such as the one I got in green on the bottom center. (Oops!)
I attached the 5/8″ Gold Satin Ribbon with sticky tape, then finger folded it into shape.
I unraveled the gold thread from some Gold Baker’s Twine, and used both the gold thread and vanilla twine separately.
To attach the gold thread behind the thank you circle, I used five glue dots to adhere the loops.

Hope you have a great week!
