I got my March Paper Pumpkin Kit this weekend. While I haven’t had much time to play with it, I did take a peek at the contents and make some of the standard projects. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin box each month. It’s always a surprise, so it’s like getting a little gift in the mail (a gift to myself!)
This month, the box included this fun little message. To celebrate its third anniversary and one millionth kit, Stampin’ Up! is giving all its subscribers a gift in next month’s kit (the April Paper Pumpkin Kit) — an extra stamp set called All About Everything. How great is that? Not only will we get the kit next month, which always includes an exclusive stamp set, but we’ll get another stamp set as well!!! If you’d like to receive this celebration kit, make sure to subscribe HERE before April 10th.
And speaking of April, the Paper Pumpkin Gurus have gotten together and decided that next month, instead of just providing one set of tutorials for alternative ideas to create with the kit, we’re going to give you TWO, one for the April kit and one for the bonus stamp set!!! Each tutorial will include detailed instructions for at least eight projects. To receive these tutorials next month, all you have to do is subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me as your demonstrator before April 10th.
The graphic below shows some sneak peeks of some of the projects we’ve included in past month tutorials. All the projects are exclusive to this group. You won’t find any of the projects shared on our blogs or social media. This group of demonstrators is super creative and consistently come up with amazing ideas! I’m really lucky to be part of this group, and that means you’re lucky too, because you get to receive the benefits.
Before I move on to this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit, I have one more reminder. There are only 9 days left of Sale-A-Bration, which will end on March 31, 2016. That means there’s only 9 more days to earn a free product each time you spend $50. Also, there’s only 9 more days left to purchase a 3 month prepaid subscription to Paper Pumpkin for the reduced price of $55. Use it to subscribe to the April Kit discussed above, plus earn a free Sale-A-Bration product!
This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit is called Pocketful of Cheer. Here’s a look at the contents of box. It includes supplies to make cards and gift card holders for several Spring occasions including graduations, birthdays, and new babies. The kit includes 8 gift cards (4 large and 4 small), 4 double sided gift card pockets, 4 double sided belly bands, die cuts, stickers, 25 green pearls, green and white baker’s twine, adhesive strips, glue dots, and dimensionals.
The kit also includes this exclusive photopolymer stamp set and a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Spot.
In addition to Bermuda Bay, here are the colors that coordinate with the March Paper Pumpkin Kit:
Like I said earlier, I didn’t have a lot of time to play with my kit yet. (It was house cleaning day on Monday!) So, I just made some of the basic projects with a few extra touches. I promise to get my creative juices flowing later in the week and post some more creative ideas. But for now, I just wanted to show you the basic kit. I have to say that I LOVE the colors in this kit. I’m a “blue” person, so having Bermuda Bay and Pool Party in the color scheme is right up my alley.
Below, I made a gift card holder. The small card also fits in this holder. On the right is the belly band that fits over the whole envelope when closed.
I added some Pool Party ink and some pearls to my small card.
In the picture below, you can see how the card fits right over the gift card in the pocket.
And here’s what the envelope looks like with the belly band. I added a little rhinestone to my grad hat. I also added a little extra baker’s twine and frayed the ends.
I love the fact that this stamp set includes graduation. With my daughter and all her friends graduating this year, the timing couldn’t be better!!!
Below is the large card. I added some Silver Glitter Tape behind the layers for a little sparkle. You can earn this tape for free during Sale-A-Bration.
I also added a few rhinestones to my card to accentuate the silver color of the Glitter Tape.
The large card fits into the envelope below. You can add a gift card pocket to the inside of the card, or you can attach it to the envelope itself as shown below.
Here’s what the envelope looks like all folded up. The kit includes these cute stickers to seal it up.
This is really a fun kit. It’s got all sorts of fun elements to play with.
In addition to the March Paper Pumpkin Kit, I used the following supplies on the projects above:
Lastly, here are the new Weekly Deals at Stampin’ Up! These items are all 25% off.
Have a wonderful and creative week!
